this is just a short update. I'll be 19 weeks tomorrow so i'll post the little update for that too.
I've getting shots weekly for the last 3 weeks and they make my poor butt cheek sore when I get it.
I think I've been having braxton hicks and I will be talking to my CNM next week to see if thats ok, if thats what it is and what I can do to lessen them because I don't want them to lead to something worse.
I have my lvl 2 anatomy scan next thursday and im really nervous. A few mommas on the may board that I post on have had losses recently. Stillbirths and one yesterday found out her baby has trisomy 13 and will probably not make it to term and if she does, the baby probably wont survive past 6 months. So sad. I hope this baby in me is healthy and developing perfectly. I'm so scared. We will be finding out what we're having and then giving his mother a picture of the ultrasound for christmas because that's what she wanted but I'm gonna overdo it just a little and put a ITS A balloon in the box and the frame for the ultrasound will also be decorated.
thats all so here's the 19 week update:
At 19 weeks, you’re probably getting psyched for your mid-pregnancy ultrasound. Most parents-to-be think of this test as the chance they get to find out baby’s sex. But you actually will see a lot more than baby’s boy or girl parts. The ultrasound technician will scan pretty much scan all of baby’s body to make sure everything’s developing properly. Don’t leave the place without getting some printouts from the scan to take home with you and show off. Of course, going in for your test isn’t the only thing you should be planning ahead for around week 19, you should also probably start the search for a pediatrician. Start by asking some family and friends for recommendations and then make a few appointments to meet with the docs. So what do you think it is -- a boy or a girl?
your baby's the size of a mango!
At about 6.0 inches long and weighing in at about 8.5 ounces, she's getting there!

your baby at 19 weeks
Developing a protective coating over her skin, called vernix caseosa. It's greasy and white and you may see some of it at her birth.
Working on her five senses. Nerve cells for her sense of taste, hearing, sight and smell are developing in her brain.
