Wow, it's been a while I guess. I tend to forget that I have this blog. Well, I've reached 3rd Tri (I think?) because I'm now 27 weeks. Some things say that I hit it when I hit 27 weeks, some say that it doesn't start till 28 weeks. Whatever. I seemed to have passed my diabetes test so that makes me happy!! I contacted my pediatrician but I didn't get though so I left info and asked for him to call me back. I hope that he does. All of my appointments are set up till 37 weeks now and all I can think of, is that it's getting close. 37 weeks is 10 weeks away. That's when the cerclage comes out. Then I can go back to the midwives. Update time I guess!
27 Weeks Pregnant
At
27 weeks, baby is breathing (it’s amniotic fluid, not air, but it still
counts) and even showing brain activity. You’ve got a lot on your
brain, too, from wondering what labor and delivery is going to be like
to trying to find the best pediatrician for baby. The annoying symptoms
you’ve been having probably aren’t going away, but at least you’ve
probably found some ways to deal with them -- and hey, maybe you’re used
to them right now. As you say goodbye to the second trimester, you can
look forward to some pretty embarrassing stuff (like having to pee all
the time -- and maybe even when you don’t mean to at all) that’s all par
for the late-pregnancy course. It’s time to head down the home stretch.
Are you ready?
So random stuff:
Still no stretchmarks (Yet)
Bellybutton is still an innie.
I gained a bit of weight this last week...I'm up 11-15lbs...from 6-8lbs! It's probably from a few factors though; I haven't been to the gym, I ate a lot yesterday and weighed myself before bed and not in the morning so I had eaten quite a heavy meal...also...irregularity. I miss pooping. LOL.
That's it for now! Until I remember to update again!

Your baby's the size of a cauliflower!
At 13.6 to 14.8 inches and 1.5 to 2.5 pounds, she's not just getting bigger, she's getting smarter.
your baby at 27 weeks
- She's practicing inhaling and exhaling with her rapidly developing lungs.
- It's official: Baby's showing brain activity! And her brain will keep on getting more complex.
